I. Design Mission of Aluminum Fuel Tank Welding Machine

1. Aluminum fuel tank welding machine is designed to weld square seams of fuel tank.

2. Tank length: 700-2000mm.

3. The welding seams are irregular. 3-axis linkage system will control welding torch to walk out of welding seam path and weld square irregular seam. Welding specification is as even and uniform as possible. The welding seam appearance is good and smooth.

4. Pulse MIG welding.

III. Equipment Structure of Aluminum Fuel Tank Welding Machine

1. Welding torch adopts short-distance push type wire feeding mechanism, to ensure the stability of wire feeding. Two welding torches can improve efficiency and reduce the deformation.

2. CNC servo system makes sure that the welding linear speed is the same during the whole welding process. Welding torch walks out of welding seam path when the arc is burning continuously, to realize the normal welding of fuel tank square seam.

4. Arc tracking is designed to guarantee the distance and angle between welding torch and workpiece does not change in the tank rotation process.

5. Oscillator is designed to offset rectify and weld big seam.

6. Pneumatic system will ensure the stable and consistent positioning.

6. Finland KEMPPI digital welding power source, rated current is 300A. Efficient synergic MIG machine equipped with pulse and double pulse features for welding aluminum and other materials.
